Often people ask me how to get their container cleaned after they’ve finished burning their candle. I have two recommendations on how to do that.

If you have a fair amount of wax that you want to clear out of your container, freeze it in your freezer for an hour or so. You should be able to easily separate the wax from the jar and toss it out or use that bit in a tart warmer/wax melter. My wicks are adhered to the container with a small sticker, so you may have to work a bit to get that apart, but it shouldn’t be too difficult. Using a knife is not recommended because of safety issues, but you should be able to gently loosen the wick and wax with a spoon.
